
The flood disaster in Pakistan affects millions of people who have to flee from the flood. Crops and food, houses and infrastructure were destroyed, many people fell victim to one of the most devastating floods.
Together with Rotary Club Bad Homburg Schloss, shelter boxes (www.shelterbox.org) were provided for immediate aid in the disaster area in Pakistan. One shelter box “contains, amongst other things, a tent for ten persons, blankets, a water treatment plant for up to 18,000 litres of drinking water as well as water canisters, tools, a cooker and crockery as well as toys. One box is able to provide ten persons with the most necessary items for survival for six months.”
